God's love and our sin

(Section three of the daily devotional, God Loves You and Me)

Day 10 God Created Us, so Why Isn't life Perfect - This devotional from God Loves You and Me explains our perfect world, and how it became imperfect when Adam and Eve chose to disobey God's one loving command in Genesis 2:16-17. It describes sin and how it affects us. It explains God's sovereignty and our free will and gives a sobering illustration on how important it is to choose God's ways with our free will.

Day 11 Sin and Its Consequences - This devotional from God Loves You and Me talks about how sin brought the consequences of death and eternal punishment or hell, and explains them both. God's holiness is defined. It explores why sin separates us from God, and how God solved the problem of separation and His love. It encourages us to listen to God with a life illustration.

Day 12 We are All Sinners - This devotional from God Loves You and Me asks the question, "why did Adam and Eve listen to the talking serpent instead of their loving Creator?" It describes why we are all sinners. It explains our sinful nature by using a sobering movie; and how God still loves us even as sinners.

Day 13 Adam and Eve Chose Death Instead of Life - This devotional from God Loves You and Me explores how Adam and Eve chose death. It also explains death from different angles. My uncle Ott's life experiences are used to encourage us to realize and believe in the source of all life, Jesus.

Day 14 God Knows all Things and is Always There - This devotional from God Loves You and Me talks about how God is all-knowing and always there with us using Psalm 139 as its main source. It explains how we need Jesus Christ to truly bring us close to God even through His presence is always there. It uses a logistics miracle to emphasis God's all-knowing presence.
